A youth talent contest, for individuals 12 and under, will be staged Friday night, August 15, beginning at 6:00 PM. The talent contest for those over 12 will be staged the same night following the youth competition. Contestants in both categories are asked to bring their own tapes/CDs No bands Please Prizes in each division will be a trophy and $100 for first place; trophy and $75.00 for second place; and trophy and $50 for third place. Winners will compete for a best of show plaque and $100 award at the end of the event. Contestants are asked to pre-register by completing a registration form and mailing it to RR1 Box 90, New Martinsville WV 26155, or by calling 455-3805. On the day of the event contestants are asked to sign in at the stage at least thirty minutes prior to the start of the contest.
