Rules and Regulations
1. There is a $30 entry fee, money order only, for all age groups. The contestant will receive a week pass to the fair during the practice on Saturday
2. The contestant must be a resident of Wetzel County, including the entire community of Paden City, and have lived in Wetzel County for 1 year.
3. The contestant must be unmarried and remain unmarried during her reign.
4. The contestant cannot be pregnant, get pregnant during her reign or have been pregnant.
5. The contestant must have been born a female.
6. The contestant must be available during the entire week of the fair, August 12-17, 2013.
7. For the Queen, she must be available to attend the 2014 Fairs and Festivals Convention in January. Teen, Pre-Teen, and Little Miss Winners if you are interesting in attending please talk to me after the pageant.
8. Queen’s Phase of competition include: Interviews (suits are recommended) Promotion (jean shorts with a 4 inch inseam and tennis shoes) Street wear (suits recommended) Evening gown (floor length gown) Final Question will be asked while you are in evening gown.
Teen’s Phase of competition include: Interview (suit) Street Wear (cocktail dress nothing to flashy) Final question will be asked while you are in your street wear.
Pre-Teen and Little Miss Phase of competition include: Street wear (summer dress, or simple cocktail, nothing to flashy) Final question will be asked while you are in your street wear.
9. There will be a mandatory meeting on Saturday August 10th at 12:00 PM this is for all age groups..
10. The interviews for Queen and Teen will take place Monday August 12th in the morning at the Mollohan Center at the Wetzel County 4-H. The rest of the competition will be held on the main stage at the Wetzel County 4-H grounds. They will take place as soon as Opening Ceremonies are over.
11. Little Miss must be 7 years old, Pre-Teen must be 10 years old, Teen must be 13 years old, and Queen must be 16 by August 12th and Queens cannot turn 22 by January 1, 2014.
12. DEADLINE: Pageant entries must be postmarked August 5th.
