Updates for 2008 are in progress.
WELCOME TO TOWN AND COUNTRY DAYS WEBSITE
Greetings and welcome to the 2008 Town and Country Days Annual event. Town and Country will be celebrating 48 years of fun and excitement. Town and Country Days is an active member of the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals. We take great pride in putting on one of the most talked about events in the area.
Town and Country Days was established in 1960 as a way to promote friendship and gathering together throughout the rural and urban sections of our county. As the years went by it grew through the hard work of our Board of Directors, many volunteers and community support. Today, 48 years later the event has grown to bring together friends and families through the State of West Virginia and surrounding States.
Mark your calendar for August 11th through August 16 and plan to attend one of the best county fairs that you will experience. The week is filled with entertainment, track events, carnival rides, food, camping livestock and exhibits. The Board of Directors believe that we have put together a very exciting week for every one.
I would like to express a special “Thank You” to our state and local government for the support they have given to Town and Country Days over the years. Also, I want to thank all of our sponsors, local business and many volunteers that have supported Town and Country Days. Last but not least, I commend and thank Town and Country Days Board of Directors and their families for their dedication to our fair. Their works bring entertainment and enrichment into many of our lives.
“Don’t forget August 11th through August 16th.
